A man who was convicted of stalking and threatening Madonna in the 1990s simply walked off unnoticed a week ago from a California mental-health facility, and remains at large, Los Angeles police said. Robert Dewey Hoskins, 54, was sentenced to 10 years in prison in 1996 after scaling a wall around the pop star's home in Hollywood and threatened to slit her throat. After his release, he was arrested again in July 2011 and sent to a health facility, where he walked off and hasn't been seen since, prompting a police hunt for the man.
