4 people shot in Downtown Austin overnight
Four people, two men and two women, were shot in Downtown Austin’s entertainment district last night.
According to police, the two women were shot near the intersection of San Jacinto and East Sixth streets around 2:30 a.m. Both were transported to a hospital with non-serious injuries.
Two additional victims, both male, were later located. One had taken himself to a South Austin hospital and the other was found near East Seventh Street and Interstate 35. Police said neither had life-threatening injuries.
Police do not have a suspect in custody.
