Location: 12800 Turtle Rock Road
Deceased: Cory Burns, White male, (D.O.B. 10-12-1992)
Arrested: Annette Valdez, Hispanic female, (D.O.B. 09-26-1984)
Narrative:
On Tuesday, October 3, 2012 at 7:41 p.m., Austin Police Officers responded to a stabbing at 12800 Turtle Rock Road. The preliminary investigation shows that Burns and Valdez were involved in an altercation that resulted in Burns being stabbed.
Officers and civilian witnesses on scene attempted life saving measures, but were unable to save Burns. He was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene.
Valdez has been arrested and has been charged with Murder, 1st Degree Felony. She is currently being held in the Williamson County Jail on an $850,000 bond.
