Salaries of Nonprofits Art Organizations

Artist are constantly being ask to donate your art, time and money to nonprofits.  They also are constantly looking for nonpayed interns. 
When most artist work full time jobs just to eek out a living, their kind heart donation to a nonprofit art organization may be enabling the director the good life.
 You might want to check the salaries of those who run the nonprofit art organizations in your town.
 
I am going to see if I can dig up salaries of nonprofit directors in my town.   In the mean time:

Here are what the big guys are making, from a report in  Bloomberg News
  • Reynold Levy, president of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts: $1.8 million
  • Glenn Lowry, director of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA): $1.8 million
  • Thomas Campbell, director of the Metropolitan Museum of Art: $1.1 million
  • Emily Rafferty, president of the Metropolitan Museum of Art: $1.6 million
  • Michael Kaiser, president of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts: $1.4 million
  • Michael Govan, CEO of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art: $1.3 million (in 2012)
  • James Cuno, president of the J. Paul Getty Trust: $1.1 million (in 2012)
